March/Early April Recommendations

I have read quite a few new books, less than usual and less than what I would have liked too, but the few that I have read were amazing. This post has links to the Goodreads page for the book and the author. Hope you enjoy xxx.

P.S. this list is NOT in any particular order

Attraction (Elements of Chemistry, #1)

                                         Attraction (Elements of                                          Chemistry #1)

                                                                by

One week.Private beach.Invisible girl.Jerk-faced bully. What’s the worst that could happen?Kaitlyn Parker has no problem being the invisible girl, which is why she finds herself hiding in various cabinets and closets all over her college campus. Despite her best efforts, she can’t escape the notice of Martin Sandeke—bad boy, jerkface bully, and the universe’s hottest, wealthiest, and most unobtainable bachelor—who also happens to be Kaitlyn’s chemistry lab partner.Kaitlyn might be the only girl who isn’t interested in exploiting his stunning rower’s build, chiseled features, and family's billionaire fortune. Kaitlyn wants Martin for his brain, specifically to tabulate findings of trace elements in surface water. When Kaitlyn saves Martin from a nefarious plot, Martin uses the opportunity to push Kaitlyn out of her comfort zone: spring break, one week, house parties, bathing suits, and suntan lotion. Can she overcome her aversion to being noticed? Will he be able grow beyond his self-centered nature? Or, despite their obvious chemistry, will Martin be the one to drive Kaitlyn into the science cabinet of obscurity for good?
The thing I love most about this book, and the other titles by this author, is the comedic edge that the characters have. There is a smile on your face throughout most of the book. The female leads are quick and witty and genius level smart. LOVE.

Deep (Stage Dive, #4)

                                      Deep (Stage Dive #4)

Positive. With two little lines on a pregnancy test, everything in Lizzy Rollins' ordinary life is about to change forever. And all because of one big mistake in Vegas with Ben Nicholson, the irresistibly sexy bass player for Stage Dive. So what if Ben's the only man she's ever met who can make her feel completely safe, cherished, and out of control with desire at the same time? Lizzy knows the gorgeous rock star isn't looking for anything more permanent than a good time, no matter how much she wishes differently.
Ben knows Lizzy is off limits. Completely and utterly. She's his best friend's little sister now, and no matter how hot the chemistry is between them, no matter how sweet and sexy she is, he's not going to go there. But when Ben is forced to keep the one girl he's always had a weakness for out of trouble in Sin City, he quickly learns that what happens in Vegas, doesn't always stay there. Now he and Lizzie are connected in the deepest way possible...but will it lead to a connection of the heart?
I love this series as a whole. This needs to be read in order and if you love bad boy musicians, this is for you.

When I'm Gone (Rosemary Beach, #11)

When I'm Gone (Rosemary                                   Beach #11)

From #1 New York Times bestselling author Abbi Glines comes the next new adult novel in the Rosemary Beach series, in which we meet Mase, a Texas heartthrob first introduced in Take a Chance who comes to Rosemary Beach to stir things up.
I had an urge to fix all her problems. Which was stupid. She was doing fine without me. But something about those big eyes…
Mase Colt-Manning has always preferred his humble life as a Texas rancher to his birthright as the son of a legendary rock star. In fact, he rarely visits his father’s rarefied world in Rosemary Beach, especially if it means bunking at his vile half-sister Nan’s house—until one visit leads to a chance encounter with a young, gorgeous house maid who awakens him with her off-key but spirited imitation of a country music star…
Reese Ellis finally has her freedom. After escaping a lifetime of abuse from her parents and classmates for an undiagnosed learning disorder, she seizes the opportunity to be a house maid to some of the richest families in Rosemary Beach. But her job is in jeopardy when she causes an accident at the home of her most important client, Nan Dillon. When a hot, half-naked stranger with a cowboy’s swagger comes to her rescue, she’s intrigued—then afraid once he shows his own interest. Reese has never met a trustworthy man in her life. Will Mase be any different?
I just read this before writing this post. Amazing. I feel like I have been waiting forever for  new Abbi Glines book and I needed my fix. The wait was finally over and it did not disappoint. This series should be read in order. The books are not very long so they are easy, sexy, smutty reads.

Sea of Stars (Kricket, #2)

                                       Sea of Stars (Kricket #2)

Eighteen-year-old Kricket Hollowell was looking for her place in the world when she discovered that the universe was bigger—and more dangerous—than she had ever dreamed. Now, whisked across space to the planet Ethar, Kricket learns that her genetic ability to see the future makes her a sought-after commodity…and the catalyst for war between her star-crossed parents’ clans. According to Alameedan prophecy, one house will rise to power and the other will be completely wiped out, and Kricket’s precognition is believed to be the weapon that will tip the scales.
A target of both the Rafe and the Alameeda houses, Kricket finds protection—and a home—in the arms of Trey, her Etharian bodyguard-turned-boyfriend. But her visions of what’s to come disturb her deeply, especially since she must discover whether the gift of foresight will allow her to rewrite the future, or if her fate is as immovable as the stars.
I was lucky enough to receive and ARC from Netgalley before this book came out. I had waited a long time for this second book and I was not disappointed. The writing, the world-building and the characters were written very well. I just hope there isn't as long a wait for the next one.

Fall with Me (Wait for You, #4)

Fall with Me (Wait for You                                  #4)

Eleven months ago, bartender and weird-shirt-wearing extraordinaire Roxy and Officer Reece Anders had a one night stand. Well, kind of. She’s been in love with him since she was fifteen, and he wishes that night they shared never happened. She’s sworn him off forever, but the past and future collide, forcing her to rely on the one man who broke her heart not once, but twice.
Her best friend since birth has been in a long-term care facility since he became a victim of a hate crime years ago, and the person who put him in there is out of prison and wanting to make amends with him and Roxy. She’s not sure she has room for forgiveness in her and when she begins to receive frightening messages and is on the receiving end of escalating violence, she thinks she knows who is to blame. The man who already destroyed one life already.

But Reece isn’t convinced. The threats are too personal, and even if Roxy doesn’t believe him, he’s not willing to let anyone hurt her. Including himself. He’s already messed up more than once when it comes to Roxy and he’s not going to let history repeat itself.

This shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone. I am a huge JLA fan so this would obviously feature in my recommendations. She can do no wrong. Apart from the horrible cliffhangers in some of her books and the terrible teasing at the end of this one. Serious torture, but you will always want to go back for more.

A Perfect Ten (Forbidden Men, #5)

A Perfect Ten (Forbidden Men                                   #5)

by
Let your hair down, Caroline, they said. It'll be fun, they said.
I know I've closed myself off in a major way over the past year, ever since “the incident” where I messed up my life completely. It's past time I try to live again or just give up altogether. But this is quite possibly the craziest thing I've ever done. In a last ditch effort to invigorate myself, I'm standing outside Oren Tenning's bedroom, I just peeled off the sexiest pair of underwear I own, and my hand is already raised to knock. My brother would disown me for doing anything with his best friend, and he'd probably kill Oren. But if I play my cards right, no one will ever know about this. Not even Ten.
Maybe after tonight, I’ll finally get over this stupid, irrational crush I hate having on the biggest jerk I’ve ever met. Or maybe I’ll just end up falling for him even harder. Maybe I’ll discover there’s so much more to my crude, carefree hunk than meets the eye.
I don't know what it is about these books that draw me in but they do. Linda Kage's writing style is very easy to read and the stories are very well done.

Confess

                                    Confess

From #1 New York Times bestselling author Colleen Hoover, a new novel about risking everything for love—and finding your heart somewhere between the truth and lies.
Auburn Reed has her entire life mapped out. Her goals are in sight and there’s no room for mistakes. But when she walks into a Dallas art studio in search of a job, she doesn’t expect to find a deep attraction to the enigmatic artist who works there, Owen Gentry.
For once, Auburn takes a risk and puts her heart in control, only to discover Owen is keeping major secrets from coming out. The magnitude of his past threatens to destroy everything important to Auburn, and the only way to get her life back on track is to cut Owen out of it.
The last thing Owen wants is to lose Auburn, but he can’t seem to convince her that truth is sometimes as subjective as art. All he would have to do to save their relationship is confess. But in this case, the confession could be much more destructive than the actual sin…

I mentioned this book in a previous blog post and Colleen Hover has been present in a lot of my previous posts. It is classic Colleen Hoover style book. Not surprisingly, it is also the only stand-alone I have read in the past month.

Changing Everything (Forgiving Lies, #2.5)

                                       Changing Everything

                                      (Forgiving Lies #2.5)

Paisley Morro has been in love with Eli since they were thirteen-years-old. But after twelve years of only being his best friend and wingman, the heartache that comes from watching him with countless other women becomes too much, and Paisley decides its time to lay all her feelings on the table.
Eli Jenkins has a life most guys would kill for: Dream job, countless women, and his best friend, Paisley, to be the girl he can always count on for everything else. But one conversation not only changes everything between them, it threatens to make him lose the only girl who has ever meant anything to him.
When tragedy strikes his family and Eli is forced to reevaluate his life, he realizes a life without Paisley isn’t a life at all. Only now, he may be too late.

I am a huge fan of this series and I visit the first two books when I am in a bit of a reading rut. Molly McAdams has a quality to her writing which, even after ripping your heart to shreds, makes you want to come back for more.

Manwhore (Manwhore, #1)

                                    Manwhore (Manwhore #1)

Is it possible to expose Chicago’s hottest player—without getting played?
This is the story I've been waiting for all my life, and its name is Malcolm Kyle Preston Logan Saint. Don’t be fooled by that last name though. There’s nothing holy about the man except the hell his parties raise. The hottest entrepreneur Chicago has ever known, he’s a man’s man with too much money to spend and too many women vying for his attention.
Mysterious. Privileged. Legendary. His entire life he’s been surrounded by the press as they dig for tidbits to see if his fairytale life is for real or all mirrors and social media lies. Since he hit the scene, his secrets have been his and his alone to keep. And that’s where I come in.
Assigned to investigate Saint and reveal his elusive personality, I’m determined to make him the story that will change my career.
But I never imagined he would change my life. Bit by bit, I start to wonder if I'm the one discovering him...or if he's uncovering me.
What happens when the man they call Saint, makes you want to sin?
This was an impulse buy and I loved it. I cannot wait for the next one. The story was a bit predictable but there is absolutely nothing wrong with that if it is executed well enough, and this book certainly is.

Most of these books were early April releases which gives me hope for the next of the month. I hope that you got some inspiration for your next read. If you have any recommendations, please leave them below. (Sorry for the weird formatting. It does not go away. This won't happen again.)

My Auto-approved authors

I have been in a little bit of a reading rut these past couple of weeks. There hasn't been a book that has truly raptured my attention so I've been re-reading a lot.
I have read a couple of books,  Confess by Colleen Hoover which was amazing . I gave it 5 stars. She is one author whom always has me excited  for her next book.  I have read 2 other books that have really had my praises, With every Heartbeat by Linda Kage  and Changing Everything by Molly McAdams. Apart from those, March had been disappointing in terms of books so far.
That will soon change, I hope, as there are a few books coming out at the end of the month and beginning of next that I cannot wait for.
Because there hasn't been much to read, and nothing has really kept my attention, there isn't much I can write about. Therefore, I thought that I would tell you, in no particular order, a few of author's books I buy as soon as they release a new book. It doesn't matter what the book is about, I can't live without them.

Colleen Hoover
Jennifer L. Armentrout
Abbi Glines
R.L. Mathewson
Rebecca Donovan
Sarah J. Maas
Emma Chase
Jamie McGuire
Marissa Meyer
Amanda Hocking
There are definitely a lot more, but they aren't coming to mind right now. All author's names and all books mentioned have a link to the Goodreads page.
Thank you for reading.

The Return: A titian Novel - Jennifer L. Armentrout

We have been dying to bring you the Release Blitz for Jennifer L. Armentrout's THE RETURN! THE RETURN is a New Adult Paranormal Romance and is a part of Jennifer L. Armentrout’s Titan Series. Seth is looking to be just as dangerously delicious as we all hoped!!

The Return - Cover

(That is one fit guy, and my favourite character from the Covenant Series)

The Fates are cackling their bony asses off...

It's been a year since Seth made the deal with the gods that pledged his life to them. And so far, the jobs they've given him have been violent and bloody--which is kind of all right with him. But now Apollo has something else in mind for Seth. He's got to play protector while keeping his hands and fingers off, and for someone who really has a problem with restraint, this new assignment might be the most challenging yet.

Josie has no idea what this crazy hot guy's deal might be, but it's a good bet that his arrival means the new life she started after leaving home is about to be thrown into an Olympian-sized blender turned up to puree. Either Josie is going insane or a nightmare straight out of ancient myth is gunning for her.

But it might be the unlikely attraction simmering between her and the golden-eyed, secret-keeping Seth that may prove to be the most dangerous thing of all.

Because history has once again been flipped to repeat.

THE RETURN Excerpt:

I was a half-blood, but I was also the Apollyon, a child of a pure and a half, a union that had been forbidden for thousands of years because an Apollyon was more powerful than any pure or half could ever hope to be.

And I always got to the traitors’ hideouts before they did, so the Sentinels were usually left with the cleanup, which I was sure absolutely thrilled them.

The first to enter was a female half-blood dressed just as I was. Her black hair was pulled back in a neat little knot at the top of her head. She was older, probably in her mid-thirties. It was pretty rare for a Sentinel to live that long. Her dark skin paled as she stopped just inside the entrance. She clenched titanium daggers in her hands like she expected something vicious to pop out from under the bloody mess.

The female Sentinel tipped her chin up, and the overhead light sliced across her broad cheekbones. She bore a jagged scar under her right eye, the skin lighter in tone. She saw me and froze.

My smile widened.

Behind her, another Sentinel rushed in, almost mowing her over. He saw me and whispered, “Seth.”

He’d said my name like I was the monster under his bed, and I sort of liked that. Then another Sentinel and another rolled in. The fifth took one look at my interior design work and keeled over. Slamming his hands on his knees, he hurled up his dinner.

Nice.

Our society existed completely unknown to the average mortal and had operated under what was known as the Breed Order for thousands of years. The Order had been dismantled, which meant halfs were no longer forced to choose between becoming Sentinels—hunting down violent creatures, protecting pures, enforcing laws, and otherwise usually dying pretty damn quickly on the job—or servants, which was a job that really wasn’t a job, but more like slavery. Since then, many pampered pures had signed on to be Sentinels, making up for the loss of the halfs who’d pretty much said “screw this shit, I’m out.”

This wasn’t necessarily a good thing.

For example, the dumbass puking all over my blood-covered floor was a pure. When he straightened, his face a greenish hue, he backed away, shaking his head. “I can’t,” he gasped out. “I can’t do this.”

Then he turned and hauled ass out the doors.
I sighed. This was why we couldn’t have nice things.

Crown of Midnight (Throne of Glass, #2)

Heir of Fire (Throne of Glass, #3)

I haven't put the blurbs for book 2 and 3 to avoid any spoilers.

I just want to say please read this series. PLEASE. I have always said that I don't have that one book, or one series, that is my absolute favourite. There are many that I love, but no one stood out, until I read Heir of Fire.

I am one of those people that hates to read the last book of a series, because I don't want it to end. I knew how long it was going to take for the 4th book to come out, so I put of reading Heir of Fire. If any of you follow my Instagram, you will know that I bought the book and finally took the plunge.

I can say, without a shadow of a doubt, that this series and the author are my all time favourites. There is no comparison. The world building, the characters, the writing and everything in between is just incredible.

I cannot write its praises enough. I NEED the next book as I'm sure you all will once you read the books. When I feel strongly about a book, I usually shove it in front of my friends and  make them read it. Since I cannot do that over the internet, I am begging you to read it. You will not be disappointed.

Thoughtful - S.C. Stephens

Thoughtful (Thoughtless, #1.5)

                                                   Thoughtful (Thoughtless #1.5)

new novel in the Thoughtless series from #1 New York Timesbestselling author S. C. Stephens!

Every story has two sides, and in this new book, the epic love story between Kiera and Kellan is shown through his eyes.

All Kellan Kyle needs is his guitar, and some clean sheets of paper. Growing up in a house that was far from a home, he learned a hard lesson:You're worthless. Now his life is comfortably filled with passionate music, loyal band mates, and fast women...until he meets her.

Kiera makes him ache for more. Makes him feel for the first time that he'sworth more. But there's one problem - she's his best friend's girl.

Just when Kellan thought his emotional defenses were rock solid, Kiera's indecisive heart wreaks havoc on his soul, changing him forever. Losing Kiera is not an option.

When I found out I got approved for an Arc for this book, I may or may not have done a happy dance.

The Thoughtless series is a bit like Marmite. You either love it or you hate it. I definitely love it. This book was no different. It follows the male protagonist of the three previous Thoughtless books, Kellan Kyle. Sigh. So so dreamy.

We get to see the inner workings of Kellan, and honestly, it made the first book make a lot more sense. A few times through Thoughtless, I was very confused as to why he acted the way that he did, this book made it all make sense. I may not have liked the explanation, but it definitely made sense.

Just like with Kiera, Kellan's thought process was at times annoying and you just want to shake them both and say "STOP BEING SO STUPID AND JUST KISS!" I mainly just wanted to give Kellan a hug and say "I LOVE YOU!" as I'm sure most of you do too.

There was only one thing that truly caught me off guard, and that was Kellan's thought process after Kiera went back with Denny, multiple times. The language may offend a few people, so if you are easily offended, then this is not the book for you. I very nearly stopped reading the book, but the more I thought about it, the more I realised that we all think like that at times. We all have thoughts that are so offensive, we shock ourselves. It doesn't make it right, but we're human and it happens all the time. It made me love S.C. Stephen just a little bit more because it is refreshing. We don't really read things like that, unless its the bad guy speaking.

That was really my main problem, that wasn't much of a problem the more I thought about it.

Please read this. A definite recommendation.

5/5 stars.

Book Recommendations

I haven't posted for a while, I apologise, I have just been busy at Uni.

I have put together a list of books that I have read recently and loved. Hope you find something that looks good.

This isn't in any particular order, just put them in as I remembered them.

Frostfire (Kanin Chronicles, #1)

But all her plans for the future are put on hold when Konstantin– a fallen hero she once loved – begins kidnapping changelings. Bryn is sent in to help stop him, but will she lose her heart in the process?

Kyland (A Sign of Love)

                                        Kyland (A Sign of Love)

Dirt poor. Hillbilly. Backwoods hick. Mountain folk.

Tenleigh Falyn struggles each day to survive in a small, poverty-stricken, coal mining town where she lives with her sister and mentally ill mother. Her dream of winning the college scholarship given to one student by the local coal company and escaping the harshness of her life, keeps her going.

Kyland Barrett lives in the hills, too, and has worked tirelessly—through near starvation, through deep loneliness, against all odds—to win the Tyton Coal Scholarship and leave the town that is full of so much pain.

They're both determined not to form any attachments, but one moment changes everything. What happens when only one person gets to win? When only one person gets to leave? And what happens to the one left behind?

Kyland is a story of desperation and hope, loss and sacrifice, pain and forgiveness, but ultimately, a story of deep and unending love.

THIS IS A STAND-ALONE SIGN OF LOVE NOVEL, INSPIRED BY TAURUS. New Adult Contemporary Romance: Due to strong language and sexual content, this book is not intended for readers under the age of 18.

Cinder (The Lunar Chronicles, #1)

P.S. I have read all three of the books in the series and they are all amazing. 3rd book is my favourite. Cannot wait for Winter.

Her duty to the Order is her life. After all, four years ago, she lost everything at the hands of the creatures she’d sworn to hunt, tearing her world and her heart apart.

Ren Owens is the last person Ivy expected to enter her rigidly controlled life. He’s six feet and three inches of temptation and swoon-inducing charm. With forest-green eyes and a smile that’s surely left a stream of broken hearts in its wake, he has an uncanny, almost unnatural ability to make her yearn for everything he has to offer. But letting him in is as dangerous as hunting the cold-blooded killers stalking the streets. Losing the boy she loved once before had nearly destroyed her, but the sparking tension that grows between them becomes impossible for Ivy to deny. Deep down, she wants… she needs more than what her duty demands of her, what her past has shaped for her.

But as Ivy grows closer to Ren, she realizes she’s not the only one carrying secrets that could shatter the frail bond between them. There’s something he’s not telling her, and one thing is for certain. She’s no longer sure what is more dangerous to her—the ancient beings threatening to take over the town or the man demanding to lay claim to her heart and her soul.

The Game Plan (Neighbor from Hell, #5)

The Game Plan (Neighbor from Hell #5)

Spend the next 40 years in prison or break her lease early?

Normally she’d be able to say that this one was a no-brainer, but things have definitely changed since she was forced to move in across the hall from Danny Bradford.

A lot of things……

She wanted to get through one day, just ONE day without Danny Bradford doing something to test the limits to her control, but with that damn smile of his and his habit of leaving her contemplating manslaughter, she didn’t see that happening anytime soon.

He loved his family, but some days…….

It was too much, but that was okay, because his small neighbor living across the hallway provided him with endless hours of entertainment. Not on purpose of course, but did it really matter as long she made him smile?

Megan Vandemeer meant to tell her parents about her broken engagement, but a month and a half later she finds herself boarding a plane home to her wedding. A couple of drinks and two Dramamine later, Megan finds herself spilling her sob story to the tall, dark, and handsome stranger in the seat next to her.

With only one week left to save his business, Josh McMillan boards a plane to Kansas City in a last-ditch effort, leaving the details to chance. An unexpected answer is delivered in the form of the beautiful brunette beside him. Though she’s completely loopy, her honesty, openness, and humor charm him. So when she passes out before landing, he helps her off the plane--a good deed that leads to a colossal misunderstanding. Her parents assume he’s her fiancĂ©. In a twist of fate, the mix-up might help Josh save his business, so he plays along, figuring he can help Megan too. All he has to do is stage a public break up convincing enough to appease her mother.

Josh is only supposed to be a substitute groom, but the more time he and Megan spend together, the more their pretend engagement starts to feel real…and the less they want to break it off. Can a relationship that began as a farce turn into happily ever after?

When Lucas Campbell isn’t at the family veterinary clinic, he’s paddle boarding in Monterey Bay. Recently single, he’s definitely not in the market for a new relationship, but he still can’t resist taking a second, third, and fourth look at the recent arrival of Miss Golden State.

Neither Lucas nor Chloe has any interest in being tied down. Being tied up, however—now there’s a thought. But are a few Mai Tais, a moonlit night, and the music of Frank Sinatra enough to allow them both to forget their past? Let’s hope Ol’ Blue Eyes knows what he’s doing.

Mix one part tiki, one part kinky, and a splash of old black magic matchmaking, and it’s time to be . . . Mai Tai’d Up.

Neanderthal Marries Human: A Smarter Romance (Knitting in the City, #1.5)

Neanderthal Marries Human: A Smarter                                              Romance (Knitting in the City #1.5)

There are three things you should know about Quinn Sullivan: 1) He is madly in love with Janie Morris, 2) He’s not above playing dirty to get what (or who) he wants, and 3) He doesn’t know how to knit.

After just five months of dating Janie, Quinn—former Wendell and unapologetic autocrat—is ready to propose marriage. In fact, he’s more than ready. If it were up to Quinn, he would efficiently propose, marry, and beget Janie with child all in the same day—thereby avoiding the drama and angst that accompanies the four stages of pre-matrimony: engagement, meeting the parents, bachelor/bachelorette party, and overblown, superfluous wedding day traditions. But Janie, much to Quinn’s dismay, tosses a wrench in his efficacious endeavors and challenges him to prove his devotion by going through the matrimonial motions, no matter how minute and mundane.

Will Quinn last until the wedding day? Or will he yield to his tyrant impulses?

Regardless, one thing is for certain, Quinn Sullivan will have to learn to expect the Spanish Inquisition (i.e. the unexpected) if he plans to have and keep Janie Morris as his wife.

This book is not a standalone. It is the sequel to ‘Neanderthal Seeks Human,’ it is book #1.5 in the ‘Knitting in the City’ series, and it is a full length, 100k word novel.

Again, you must read ‘Neanderthal Seeks Human’ first before reading this book.

This book is written in first person, alternating POV (Janie Morris AND Quinn Sullivan; but more Janie than Quinn)

Tangled (Tangled, #1)

                                    Tangled (Tangled #1)

Drew Evans is a winner. Handsome and arrogant, he makes multimillion dollar business deals and seduces New York’s most beautiful women with just a smile. He has loyal friends and an indulgent family. So why has he been shuttered in his apartment for seven days, miserable and depressed?

He’ll tell you he has the flu.

But we all know that’s not really true.

Katherine Brooks is brilliant, beautiful and ambitious. She refuses to let anything - or anyone - derail her path to success. When Kate is hired as the new associate at Drew’s father’s investment banking firm, every aspect of the dashing playboy’s life is thrown into a tailspin. The professional competition she brings is unnerving, his attraction to her is distracting, his failure to entice her into his bed is exasperating.

Then, just when Drew is on the cusp of having everything he wants, his overblown confidence threatens to ruin it all. Will he be able untangle his feelings of lust and tenderness, frustration and fulfillment? Will he rise to the most important challenge of his life?

Can Drew Evans win at love?

Tangled is not your mother’s romance novel. It is an outrageous, passionate, witty narrative about a man who knows a lot about women…just not as much as he thinks he knows. As he tells his story, Drew learns the one thing he never wanted in life, is the only thing he can’t live without.

P.S. I just had to add this one because Drew...just Drew.
That is it. All lot of these books are series book, a few can be read as stand-alones. I just prefer series books because I get to know the characters a lot better and I just get more from them. All the series that I have listed, should be read in order, even if they are companion novels, because you meet the characters from the other books and you may read some spoilers.
