Spring Fling Book Hop

This may not come as a shock to anyone that has been reading my posts for a while, since I did write a whole blog post on it, but for those that are new here, my spring fling is, of course, the Throne of Glass series. This series has everything that I look for in a good read, a strong kick-A female lead, male leads you wish were real and the type of writing which makes you see the fantasy world as your reading. The world-building and the character building in these books is incredible and I have a feeling that it is just going to get even better.

I don't often buy paperbacks or hardbacks of books because they're expensive and I can make do with the e-book. However, when a book stays on my mind, or when I feel like I have to have the physical copy, I buy them. I usually only ever leave a link to the Goodreads pages for these books, but I'll also leave a link for the Amazon page. These books are worth your money.

Meet Celaena Sardothien.
Beautiful. Deadly. Destined for greatness.
In the dark, filthy salt mines of Endovier, an eighteen-year-old girl is serving a life sentence. She is a trained assassin, the best of her kind, but she made a fatal mistake. She got caught.
Young Captain Westfall offers her a deal: her freedom in return for one huge sacrifice. Celaena must represent the prince in a to-the-death tournament - fighting the most gifted thieves and assassins in the land. Live or die, Celaena will be free. Win or lose, she is about to discover her true destiny. But will her assassin's heart be melted?

  3. Throne of Glass wasn't my favorite, but Crown of Midnight was mind-blowing. The amount of kick-ass from Celaena was just amazing. Have you read the third one yet?
